Station Omega

You pick up a loose piece of debris from the tunnel floor and hurl it down a side passage. The clatter echoes through the confined space, potentially drawing whatever is ahead away from your position—or revealing its location if it reacts to the noise. You glance around the narrow tunnel and spot some loose wires and sharp fragments of metal. With quick thinking, you fashion a crude trap or defensive tool, readying yourself for whatever might emerge from the shadows ahead. You steady your breathing and locate a nearby control panel embedded in the tunnel wall. If the station is reacting to something—or someone—you might be able to use the environmental controls to manipulate the atmosphere or lighting in your favor, or even track the source of the scraping sound. You notice a small access terminal partially hidden in the tunnel wall. Despite the flickering flashlight, you manage to bring it online and quickly search for recent security logs. Perhaps they hold clues about the shadowy figure or the strange sounds echoing through the station.
