You notice a terminal tucked into the side of the tunnel. Risking a quick glance at the breathing source, you decide to access the terminal’s security logs to uncover what might be lurking ahead or what has been happening in this section of the station. With the wrench in your hand, you gently tap it against the floor, creating a faint, deliberate sound further down the tunnel. If the source of the breathing is hostile, this might draw its attention away from your position. You spot a small control panel embedded in the tunnel wall. Carefully, you crawl toward it, hoping to access the environmental controls and determine if the oppressive air and strange breathing are linked to a malfunction—or something more deliberate. Using the wrench and a few loose pieces of debris scattered in the tunnel, you quietly assemble a makeshift trap.
