Station Omega
Spotting a bundle of high-voltage cables and a loose plasma battery in the corner, you quickly devise a plan to rig a makeshift trap near the entrance. If anything—or anyone—tries to breach the door, they’ll be met with a deadly shock. The incessant tapping grows louder, almost rhythmic, as if calling to you. Against your better judgment, you grab a flashlight and cautiously approach the source of the sound, which seems to come from a maintenance hatch at the far end of the bay.You grab a handheld multitool with a built-in scanner and start sweeping the walls, searching for any signs of movement or alien growth within. The readings flicker wildly, and you brace yourself for what might be hiding just beyond the thin metal panels. You notice the main door to the engineering bay has a small gap at the base, just wide enough for something to slip through. Gripping the welder, you decide to seal it shut entirely, knowing this will trap you inside but might keep the horrors outside at bay.
