Station Omega
You scan your surroundings for anything you can use to set a trap. A loose pipe, exposed wiring, or even a makeshift tripwire could give you a fighting chance if the figure discovers your hiding spot. You start assembling what you can, staying as quiet as possible. You spot a small control panel embedded in the wall nearby. Carefully, you edge closer, hoping to access the environmental controls without drawing the figure's attention. If the station's systems are influencing this creature, understanding the environment might give you an edge—or a way to escape unnoticed. You pick up a small piece of debris at your feet and toss it toward the far end of the corridor. The clatter echoes through the space, and you hold your breath, hoping the figure will investigate the noise and give you a chance to slip away. You notice a terminal just beyond the barricade. If you can reach it without alerting the figure, accessing the security logs might reveal what this thing is, where it came from, or how to avoid others like it. The risk is high, but the information could be invaluable.
