Station Omega
Your eyes land on a dusty console in the corner of the room. If it still works, accessing the security logs might reveal what’s happening in the station and give you a clue about what’s trying to get in—or how to escape it. You quickly scan the supply crates for anything useful—tripwire, explosives, or even heavy objects to create a barricade. If the door gives way, you’ll be ready to defend yourself with whatever you can muster. You grab a metal wrench from a nearby crate and hurl it toward the far end of the armory, hoping the loud clang will draw whatever is outside the door away—or at least make it hesitate long enough for you to plan your next move. You spot a small terminal embedded in the armory wall. If the station's systems are reacting to something, perhaps you can use the environmental controls to manipulate the atmosphere or lighting in your favor, buying yourself time or disorienting whatever is outside the door.
