The Investigator
Evelyn pulls out a folder, opening it to reveal a damning pattern of evidence. She taps on a highlighted name in one of the documents and raises an eyebrow. "I think you owe me an explanation for this. Start talking."Evelyn pounds the table with a sudden force, causing everything on it to rattle. She inches forward, her tone icy and filled with menace. "I’ve had enough of your stalling. Talk now, or you’ll regret testing my patience."Evelyn stands abruptly, her movements deliberate as she begins to pace, her boots creating a steady rhythm on the floor. She halts behind the witness, her tone deceptively calm as she speaks. "Every game has its rules, and you broke one of them. Care to guess which?"Evelyn’s phone is in her hand as she dials a number, her piercing stare never wavering from the witness. The door opens shortly after, and another officer steps in, presenting a bloodstained piece of evidence. "Ring any bells? Care to explain why your prints are on this?"
